この前新しく入れてみたsolaris10　5/08にsuntudio12を入れて、遊んでみました。

Hello worldを10回表示するプログラムです。感激！！

solaris 10 5/08

早速入れてみましたが、ほとんど違いが分かりません。

暫く遊んでみます。。。

Mplayer(gmplayer)を　http://www.blastwave.org/packages.phpから入れたのですが音声が出ませんでした。ここから取ってきて、

sun audio outputにしたら、音が出るようになりました。あと起動時にフォントが無いと言われまして、./mplayerに、subfont.ttfというファイル名で/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType/Arial.ttfのリンク張りました。

update manager その２

X11関係のパッチを当てるとなぜかxineのGUIパネルに霞が掛かるのは以前にも経験をしてましたが、今回また不用意にパッチを当ててしまった結果が以下の通り。

あわてず、X11関係をuninstallして無事元に戻りました。

何ででしょうかね？私だけの環境だからでしょうか。。

SolarisでCPUの温度とかを調べたい

GentooだとLm_sensorsとかが有名ですがSolarisだとうまくコンパイル出来ません。私の実力不足だと思いますが。そこでmbmonを入れてみました。

./configure　とmake　でバイナリファイルが出来上がりです。

MBとCPU、chipの温度が表示されます！vcも数字も出ますがグラフにはならないようです？

昔ちょっとだけ、プログラムを書いたことがあるので前々から興味がありまして入れてしまいました。

Sunsutudio12とNetBeansです。これから勉強しようかなと？定年になったらこれで小遣い稼ぎが出来ればなんて、甘い考えですが。（でも実際に居るんですね！VBAでソフト開発している人たちが。。）私が使っていたのも、ms-dos時代に個人的に買ったDatalight C だったりしました。まだ実家に置いてあるかもね。今度探してみよう。

Update mamagerで以下のパッチをインストールしたら、マネージメントコンソールで管理サーバーに接続出来なくなってしまいました。
Patch-ID# 121309-12
Solaris Management Console Patch Date: Dec/13/2007

アンインストールしたら無事復活です。理由は分かりません。

あともう一つ

Xorg server patch Date: Jan/24/2008

これを入れたら、xineのGUIパネルが霞みが掛かったように見えなくなってしまいました。DVDボタンの場所が分からなくなって再生リストとかも見えなくなってしまいました。これもアンインストールです。

solarisでflightgear

ここからflightgearとflightgear_baseをpkg-getしてみました！http://www.blastwave.org/packages.php

いざ起動しようとすると以下のエラー

なんかベースパッケージの方がバージョンが上みたいです。いけないとは思いつつ/opt/csw/share/FlightGear/dataのversionの中身を0.9.9に書き換えてしまって起動すると

一瞬動くように見えたんですが、駄目。。。

cfgファイルがちょっと違うみたいです。バレてますね（笑）

次にここから、0.9.9きてみました。

動きがモッサリです。どうも原因はこのエラーメッセージにありそうです。

nvidiaのGLUTとは互換性無いんですかね？

でも本当はこんな事しててはいけないのです。昨日solaris勉強しようと思って東京駅近くの本屋に行ったのですが、何やらすごい人、人、人！大丸が新しくなってグラントウキョウノースタワーに入って地下で八重洲地下街とつながってさらにサウスタワーにもつながって地下のオシャレな飲食店が色々入ってます。それで終点がパシフィックセンチュリープレイス丸の内なんです。ついついこっちの方が面白くて歩き疲れてお腹が空いて八重洲地下街で「プルコギ入り石焼きビビンバ」食って帰りました。情けない。。

おじさん老いやすく疲れやすいしお腹も空くし学なりがたし

私の個人的希望ですが、さらに有楽町のガード下の飲み屋さんまで地下でつながって終点がビックカメラ有楽町店になって、東京メトロ有楽町線に乗り換え出来るなんて事になったらとっても便利だと思うのですが。若い部下を連れて飲みに行くときはオシャレに！おじさん同士もしくは相手が鬼奥さんの場合は、ガード下で台湾ビール。八重洲界隈のサラリーマンの皆さん如何でしょうか？

xdroast and recent cdrtool versions:
For a while now the newer cdrtools are no longer fully compatible with X-CD-Roast. A patch from Helmut Jarausch fixes a problem with mkisofs.

mkisofsがエラー吐いて書き込み出来なかったのはこれでしょうか？といってもソースからコンパイルする自信がないので、とりあえず/binのmkisofsを/opt/csw/binにコピーしてしまいました。

Again I remind you, that you can use X-CD-Roast with the new cdrtools (including the free DVD-support, without the need for a key) when you copy the binary from "cdrecord" to "cdrecord.prodvd" and start X-CD-Roast with the "-n" option (to skip the version check).

何と神のお告げとはこの事です。cdrecordをcdrecord.prodvdとコピーしなさいと！
念のために、/opt/csw/etcのxcdroast.confもいったん削除。
そして結果は如何に？

mkisofsがエラー吐きません、なんか行けそうな予感が！

cdrwでdvd+wr焼き

ここで、お詫びをしないとなりません！サンマイクロシステムさんご免なさいです。私は大きな勘違いをしておりました。Solaris はSolarisなんです！生半可なLinuxの知識と混同しておりました。cdrwというコマンドがありました。

従って、mkisofsで作った書き込みイメージをcd.imgとすると、以下の通りです。-p 4で4倍速書き込みを指定します。今回はdvd+rwメディアを使いました。

dvd-rwメディアを消去する場合（全体消去)すごく時間がかかります。

但し、空メディアを入れた場合、Gnome Media Formatが立ち上がりますのでこれを毎回終了するのが面倒です。

cdrecord-prodvd続き

あれこれ悪戦苦闘しましたが、やっぱりコマンドラインで行くのが正当派ということで、DVD焼きの場合はこれで行きます！まずは手持ちのDVD-RWを一度高速消去
blank=fastの意味は minimally blank the entire disk (PMA, TOC, pregap)
全体消去の場合は、allです。消去に関するオプションは
cdrecord blank=help　です。

次に、書き込むイメージファイルを作成します。今回はDocumentに3GB超のファイルを詰め込んでやってみました。-oで出力ファイル名を指定します。細かいオプションは指定しませんでした。

ところが、以下のメッセージ、俺のドライブ遅いのかって！言われたくないよ。。とりあえず、burnfreeのオプションつけろと言う親切なメッセージが。仰せの通りdriveropts=burnfree付けました。

xcdroast & cdrecord-prodvd

この前、pkg-getを入れたので、こいつでinstallすればdvd焼きも出来るのかなと密かな期待を込めて試してみましたが敢えなく撃沈しました。ダメもとでもう一度google検索するとなぜかぴったしのサイトが！！！！！

しかし残念ながらすでにこのメーリングリストと思われるものはすでに消えておりキャッシュに残っていないかと見てみたらなんと神のお告げでした。Paulさん有り難うです！！
私は、２つめの方法にしました。何故ならgentooでやってた方法と同じだからです。
私のやり方は、基本的には間違っていなかったのですが、リネームする際の名前の付け方が問題でした 。まさにシンプルに名前を変えて実行属性与えてるとCDR_SECURITYが入力できるようになりました。

正　cdrecord.prodvd

I searched the internet and found a beautiful xcdroast v0.98alpha15 that
used gtk2.  All the buttons and bars looked gorgeous.  This is located at:

ところが、実際に焼こうとするとmkisofsがエラー吐いてしまいます。

1GBまでの制限があるってメッセージ。。。もう寝ます

pkg-getでsylpheed

以前に、sylpheedのインストールに挑戦しましたが敢えなく撃沈でした。原因はよく考えずにやってしまうという性格に問題ありです！

要するに、pkg-getが便利ですよと書いてあるのによく見てない私が悪いのです！

ここに書いてあるとおり、pkg-getをinstallしてwgt-i386入れて実行可の属性に変えて出来上がりです。後は、以下のとおり。

これだけで、出来てしまいました。この前、厚い壁にぶち当たった依存性も解決しながら必要なパッケージをダウンロードしてインストールまで自動でしてくれます。うーーん感謝感激雨あられです。gentooのemergeと同じって言ったら怒られそうですが。。

感謝です。本当に多くの方に感謝です。何ていうかメールソフト一つ動かすのにも苦労するのですが、出来た時の感激がたまらないのですね、くせになります。。。。。

X-cdroast

簡単にCD-Rを焼きたいと思い、xcdroastを入れました。私レベルだとバイナリーパッケージが有り難いです。一度入れて起動しようとしたら、pcreが無いと言われたのでこれを入れて解決でした。

但し、DVDを焼くにはcdrecord-prodvdが要るというメッセージ。gentooの場合だと、これを入れて確かsecurity keyを書き込んだような気がしたのですが。

とりあえず、動いているのですが、付加機能のところでCDR_SECURITYキーが入れられません。cdrecordのサイトによれば、cdrtoolに機能があるのでもうキーは必要無いよと書いてあるのですが。浦島太郎の心境です？一昔前の知識は通用しないのです。

コンパイルに挑戦

gentooで使い慣れているメールクライアントSylpheedを使ってみようと思い、ソースからコンパイルしてみました。sylpheed-2.3.1.tar.gzを落としてきて解凍し、./configureしてとりあえず成功。これは行けると思いmakeしたところ敢えなくアウト！

CPU使用率が下がっている

8/07にしてからgkrellmを入れてみました。CPU使用率がガクンと低くなってます！何ででしょうか？ホントだとするとさすが「サンマイクロシステムズ」

8/07がアップされていましたので、新しモノ好きな私としては我慢できなくなりついつい入れてしまいました。いつも参考にさせて頂いてます。

syslogdのエラーとsendmailのサービスを止めて、update managerを起動してパッチ関係をインストールしました。

ついでにDVDが見たいのでxineも入れてとりあえず今日のところは完成です。

真のsolaris使いの方からはお叱り受けそうですが、私はスタンドアローンで使ってしまいますので、インストールの際、ルートパーテーションを大きくしてしまいます。すみません。調子に乗ってKDEも起動！CompanionDVDに入っているKDEは3.1なので少し古めかしいですが、何となくこっちの方が慣れています。

キーボードが変？

台湾出張の際に買ってきた台湾語キーボードをつないで遊んだせいか101キーボードと認識されているようです。「" → @」になります。あれって思って/boot/solaris/bootenv.rcの内容は

ちゃんと106になってるし、ネットで調べると、あと/etc/default/kbd　にLAYOUT=Japanese-106/type7を記述せよと。

さらに、eeprom kbd-type=Japanese-106/type7をしなさいと。
実は両方やって、再起動したら直ってました。どっちが良かったのか、気にしないことにします。

solaris10

久しぶりにsolarisを動かしてみました。と言ってもリムーバブルケースに入れてあるやつを差し込んだだけですが。update managerを起動したら山のような更新が！あといつも思うのですがJavadesktopにすると片側のCPUの使用率が30%以上になるのは何ででしょうか。

こちらは共通デスクトップ。ちょっと寂しい感じですが負荷は少なめみたいです。
